Metalliance-Saint Vitus

Saint vitus was untouchable. Their set was by far the most impressive of the night. They were charismatic and super heavy. They played a new jam that was pretty awesome and I look forward to hearing more of that. I would not advocate missing this band anytime they come through. Wino is king!

Metalliance-Crowbar

Crowbar is one of those bands that everyone seems to love but I never really got all that into. I now understand their glory. New Orleans puts out some of the darkest metal and Crowbar is no exception. They played a set which was an obvious span of their lifetime as shown by the reactions of the audience. They brought out some rowdies. I'm going to look into more of their recordings and will keep my eyes peeled for when they are around for sure.

Metalliance-Red Fang

Red Fang were impressive as always. They played a pretty short set with some of their new lp "murder the mountains" which I am pumped to get ahold of April 25th. Last time they came through I got ahold of their Wires 7" and highly recommend doing the same. They played their cover of "suicide" by Dust with Wino on vocals and it was just as cool as it sounds(with a damn good job on the bass solo). I think red fang is doing some big festival tour this summer which should be interesting to check out.

Metalliance-Howl

Howl were solid. They played second, I didnt get to shoot atlas moth because the club owner said I could only shoot one band or something weird like that. I decided to take the risk and shoot the whole show anyway once I noticed she didn't seem to know what was going on. They were really impressive and I'm going to check out their recordings. The long hair guitarist was really rowdy and seemed to be having an awesome time. I recommend checking this band out. It was kind of a bummer that not many people had shown up yet when they played.
